About This Server
Sector: Vergon is a serious, experimental, and innovating Starbound roleplay server made to explore the endless possibilities Starbound has to offer as a medium.
Vergon has a strong vision of making imagination a first-class citizen and empowering the community to create. To this end, we offer a new sub-server system (which we call Groups) which allow the community to create their own unique settings, each with their own hubs, lore, and rules. These can be as wild as you please; from sci-fi to fantasy and anything in-between! Vergon merely serves to be a solid foundation, offering all the tools needed to craft the experience you truly want with the quality and attention to detail a serious roleplay deserves.
As such, we will always offer a diverse array of settings and lore-- and if you don't like what you see, you can always be the first to create your own perfect experience! Your imagination is the limit.
We employ a custom server with a variety of new, exciting, and exclusive roleplay-enhancing features such as:
• Custom modpack downloader & launcher, which doesn't interfere with the mods you've already installed.
• Custom in-game shaders.
• Custom in-game chat which allows for formatting text (such as with italics) which is proximity based, i.e. your character only hears those who are near them.
• Custom in-game GUI, made minimal as to enhance immersion.
• Custom Discord bot with special in-game integration.
• And much, much more.
