We are a starbound RP community based on the worldbuilding project originally started by TheiaTheGondia
Worldbuilding site:
https://www.project-pandemonium.net/
we are planning on having the first event once there is a consensus on the time it should take place
lore:
In the late 21st century humanity was attacked by alien insects called the Terani. These insects used humans as hosts during their larval stage and over the centuries had spread humanity to all corners of the Milky Way Galaxy. In 2088 they returned to earth to “cull their flock” humans had forgotten them because they only come once in a eon.
One quarter of humanity was stolen to be used as hosts or sent to other planets to start human populations on more worlds. The people of earth were traumatised deeply on a cultural level and returned to religion as a method to cope with what had happened. They adopted the belief that humans were the true children of God and that any other intelligent species were at best “sub-human” and at worst a demonic in origin.
they developed their own space travel technology by the middle of the 22nd century and set out on a crusade to “kill the bugs” and bring any human worlds they came across into the fold.
The year is now 2859 for hundreds of years humanity has been ruled over by this Authoritarian religious regime but with the addition of many forces from a distant Galaxy the balance of power has shifted and there is once again opportunity for diversity in thought and way of life.
