The Avian's Lab is a newer Starbound server, launched a few days after 1.0 hit, aiming to be a fun, casual environment for new and old players alike to spend some time in. The initial player base started from current and past Minecraft players, although we're now expanding beyond that! We're running the latest version of Starbound and it's our goal to stay on top of new releases while preventing wipes as much as possible. After all, some players love seeing their builds expand over time without having to start fresh all the time!
Some of our core features and goals:
- Vanilla server
- Planet protection to avoid griefers
- Friendly community open to new and veteran players alike
- Available 24/7 and running on dedicated hardware
- IRC link-up to stay in touch with the players
Our rules are few and simple:
1- No griefing
2- No player traps
3- Respect private property
4- No game hacks
5- Family friendly
